In 2023 kreeg ik van Bart, broer van mijn collega, een oude stalen racefiets. Het frame was handgemaakt van Columbus-buizen en was bestickerd met de naam La Strada.
Vorig jaar overleed Bart plotseling en het leek me wel een mooi eerbetoon om de fiets op te bouwen en hem Barts La Strada te noemen. Ik heb eerst het frame laten zandstralen en heb het daarna gespoten. Vandaag heb ik de stickers bevestigd, die ik voor het frame ontworpen heb.
