How to house two babys, when the Appartement is already small for two adults and a big dog. When they will be born It's the coldest and wettest time of the year. If warm enough, we could use the veranda, but notbin January. Also bad, there is no guaranty, that we can stay here another year. If we need to move, we won't find something much bigger with at least a little garden within our budget.
And we don't have much budget to buy many things for one baby, less even for twins. So we need a budget and space efficient solution for two winter babys. Especially where should they sleep whilst not blocking the way?
If someone knows someone who would rent an apartement to new parents with twins and a dog in Gush Dan (Israel, in and around Tel Aviv) for 5000 Shekel plus arnona and utilities, free from coming March. Hubby is a selfemployed trader. His mother can support us, if it is short in one month.

It's so deeply demoralizing to notice that your kid, who thought he was researching #DnD info online, was reading #AI slop & stuck in a "Google App pretending to be a browser" silo where AI results are the default & most prominent.
Now I get to be the mom who's swimming against the riptide trying to teach my kids how to dodge AI crap to get real information, when "everyone uses it".
I became a #WebDev because I loved #tech & the promise of the web. But now I hate what it's become.
Fearful adults make bad decisions.

Oh fuck I completely forgot about it (I went K.O. by bed time) ... My kid lost his second tooth last night (he accidentally swallowed the first one). So this time, he put it under his pillow.
First thing in the morning, he checked, then came to me, "Papa. My tooth was still under the pillow. That confirms it, the tooth fairy is not real."
my five-year-old came up with a new way for me to store my belts, compact and now fits in my drawer without making a mess. solving a problem i didn't even know i had!

Went on a little #boat trip on the #river Schwentine, which flows into #Kiel, with the children today. Nice and quiet; saw different birds, some Nutria (aka a coypu, or in German Biberratte [lit. Beaver-Rat], which does look like a cross between those animals) and some turtles sunning themselves.
The captain even let the children steer the boat for a bit and honk the horn.

This is such a fun cooperative #boardgame to play with the little ones! It feels like a mix of “Where's Waldo?” and “Carmen Sandiego.” You explore a big, highly detailed map together and use clues to track down some quirky "crimes" (more like silly mischief). I had a blast with the kiddos! We will definitely come back to it soon.
