I installed this and made it boot, linux 5.10 seems low on RAM, but 5.15 seems faster, but either one seems very light and fast.
Then I went to labwc-git expecting something clonky, but graphics are crystan clear, speed/ram use seems on par with openbox, and the setup compared to default/upstream is amazing.
Why not have the joborun-setup run the commands on its own reading them off of a conf file like
locale=fr_FR UTF8
hostname=labwcx64
timezone=Africa/Tangir
username=jobornot
runit-sv=dhcpcd,seatd,ntpd,sshd,acpid
bootloader=syslinux
kernel=linux6.6
k-headers=linux6.6-headers
biod-efi=bios
..
One can edit this and run a one turn command and be done with? For those who already know how to do all this but may forget 1 or 2 this may be the way to go, appealing more to the targeted group of medium-experienced users.
If you agree but have no time to do this I may be able to contribute, just wink. I am thinking of doing this so I can repeat installations on the fly myself.
Comments are visible, posts are not, even if they are public, another federated server is displaying them so it seems the problem is with diaspora-fr.org
The post was meant to show in #joborun which serves as a support channel for the linux-distro and it is not.
