#Journal of a slightly ouchy Dutch Pixy 🧚🏼‍♀️ (Monday, 24/03/2025).

I got up before the alarm went off. Got to the scale and it was a wee bit kinder to me, yay. Got dressed, took my meds, and I cared for Arwen. She was happily eating when I got my bag and I headed to Skoosh. Onwards to the gym again!

I checked my social media and enjoyed the protein shake, while I was waiting for the meds to kick in. I went to the seated bike and I almost managed half an hour. Stupid leg... 🤬 Ugh... I'm so done with the painful tingling and all that... I went to the massage chair and after that, I headed back home again.

I washed up, had brekky, and then Arwen and I got ready for walkies. We didn't see the moon, as it would be coming up too late. But we had a nice walk and Arwen had loads of sniffs everywhere. I managed to work on my blog a bit. When we got back, I got my laptop and I worked on my journal post some. I got it almost ready, just need to add the Samsung Health info, but that's never shared until later on Mondays.

I fixed some food and then Arwen and I headed out for walkies. I was reading on the couch when bestie called me on her way to work. We had a nice catch up, as it's been over a week, seeing she had a holiday last week... Lucky her! 😉 Then I got ready to drive to Lidl to get some groceries. I was a little earlier, but I was back home at 8:25, so I think I did rather well...

I relaxed on the couch a bit till it was 9, and Arwen was ready for walkies again. We saw the neighbor, so Arwen was all happy again. When we got back, I crashed on the couch. My thumb still had not recovered from the ouchies on Sunday, so I tried to give it as much rest as I could, which meant not doing the chores that I had planned to do.

Around 11, Arwen wanted walkies again. And she saw the neighbor again, so yeah, we walked with them again... 😊 I was very tired when we got back, and I set the alarm for the next walkies, just in case...

I did snooze a bit, so the alarm was a good idea. We got ready for walkies, and Arwen and I had a good time. We watched some telly after that, and then I got ready to head to bed. Arwen did her last wee, and I got to sleep rather quickly.

Woke once for the loo, and then again, about half an hour to the alarm. So, I got up and started my day. This would be a long one, as the call from the surgeon was scheduled around 15, which is the end of my day... So yeah... A long wait for me....
