Maybe #Munich being so rich (seeing the wealth disparity of a homeless human outside the shop selling 35.000 euro sofas is bizarre) isn't helping. It surely doesn't help my happy tourist vibe.
A large % of cars here are new & expensive (and hardly ever electric). And the parking facilities show people clearly use them to reach into the city.
I'm now looking forward to Hamburg tomorrow. It's not that it lacks these issues but somehow I *feel* they're less extreme.

The city of #Munich is admitting that our water supply is running low. We're famous for our good drinking water which is fed by aquifers from an alpine region to the south. But that region's glaciers have been melting for a while and there's less and less snow in winter.
For the next couple of weeks there's a total ban on watering your lawn, washing your car outside of commercial car washes (don't ask, this is Germany, apparently this is still a thing), etc...

Travelling by train from #Frankfurt to #Munich
Because my Brompton bag was too heavy, I decided to drastically reduce the amount of stuff I’m carrying. I was able to remove close to 3 kg, with some concessions! I’m back in minimalist travel mode 😉

It was a nice ride with the #criticalmass in #munich yesterday!
Ride starts at 18:30 and finishes at 23:00 at night! I stopped in the middle to have dinner with my friends.
I joined later using the Critical Mass app to see where people were. In the evening, the temperature was finally better 😉
