I'm surprised I can use the #GitHub website in #Dillo to develop Dillo itself. Logging in with two factor authentication, opening issues and PR, commenting, looking at the CI logs, all seem to work without JS.
Pretty cool, I'm really surprised! I wonder if that's also the case for GitHub alternatives like @Codeberg , I guess I will need to test it myself soon 🙂
@Codeberg @amarok it would be nice if basic functionality (login, opening issues, comments, ...) at least works without JS enabled. This is an important factor we will use to evaluate alternatives to move Dillo repository away from GitHub.
I cannot login to open an issue on Forgejo repo without login, and I cannot send it via email, so I'll CC @forgejo here. I hope it gets addressed not too far in the future.

Since Forgejo forked form Gitea, there have been some discussions to revert the trend, but it would now require some effort to rewrite some things.
