One quirk of MiDy is templates do have the ability to query data. Not full SQL, but they can create their own views. They also have access to request query params. Also giving access to cookies would be... Interesting. There's some security implications, certainly.

The expression « midly dynamic » didn’t came in my mind when I build my own flavour of this kind of project in 2019 for several basic websites around me, but I love this expression.
