Starting here a thread about cute cats, because I used to do that in the other place and I miss it.
Starting with a repost of this random kitten I once saw on the internet, and that I can sincerely say is the prettiest feline I have seen in a long while. There are no ugly kitties, but this is a beautiful kitty, don't ask me how it works.

A large, adult white and grey cat, which eyes so light green they might as well be yellow. He is in a cyan plastic-looking cage, looking at the camera with a shy, confused or sad expression. The grey on his face, ears and front paws is lighter than on his back and tail. The same kitten, seen from the front. It is made apparent that his front legs are mostly white, with just a few random patch of greyish stripes here and there, but it's a bit hard to see how much beige there is because the picture is taken as the kitten is trying to reach for the camera. I find this cutie fascinating.
His pattern on the head is really unique, he's ENTIRELY white without a spot on the body... except a dash of grey on his chest. It goes against everything nature usually does to cats.

A quite fluffy dilute calico kitten, mostly grey with some very pale red on the forehead or paws, looks at the camera from her playpen. Felix (of course Felix) is a black and white kitten trying to hide in the corner of a crate, behind his litter box. He has a white stripe that goes from his nose to the back of his head, and maybe is the same line as the one on his back. Part of his hindlegs are also white, while his tail is black. He's in a weird position so this is a bit confusing, but one thing is for sure, he doesn't look like your usual tuxedo cat.

Maybe she was not sleeping, but rather grooming herself ? In any case, given that she's in such a funny position, with this derpy face, and that she's also photographed from above (the angle disclosing, although only partially, that the rest of the catio has various other structures made of different materials, which looks a bit messy once looked at from above), this picture makes her look very funny and silly.

Aïka, a tabby calico kitten, is gently sitting on a chair that looks like it's on some kind of balcony or catio ; there's a protection net behind her, through which we can see lots of trees and/or bushes. Her face is mostly made of black stripes on a brown fur, with just a bit of red on her left cheek. The rest of her body has all kinds of stripes in many colors, as well as some white mostly on her neck, chest and part of her front paws. You know, my position has changed over the years on calico tabbies. They used to remind me of my ex-sister (who adores calico cats), but now I see them more like... rainbow tabbies ? They have so many nuances ! Looking at Aïka I could absolutely get lost in the nuances of her fur for hours, without once thinking of the artist formerly known as my sister.

Plus I guess a calico tabby would be like... unique in their own way (especially with white added to the mix), but also like the "child" of Tomcat and Trixie, you know ? Would be fitting for my next generation of roommate.

An old picture of Tomcat (classic tabby, in the back) and Trixie (orange tabby, in the front), laying next to each other on a green blanket (Tom's), itself folded on top of a duvet, itself placed on a chair by my living room glass doors. They're both looking at me, as if I've interrupted a quiet time. Trixie looks as sweet as usual, and Tomcat looks more annoyed. I miss those times.

Gumy, a grey and white cat with a fairly round head and the cutest of cheeks, is sitting in his litter box (placed in what looks like a large cage). He looks, intrigued and maybe a little unsure, at the person who's taking the picture, but his ears are straight up and he doesn't look scared exactly. He's pretty fluffy and round, with large light green eyes. The white on his chest looks like a ruffled shirt !

Zoodio, a tabby kitten, is sitting on the wooden floor. She's attentively watching what the human taking the photo is doing, but there is no fear, just curiosity and waiting to see what's going to happen. She has beautiful yellow eyes, and her dilute torbie fur is full of beige and slightly redish nuances, as well as white on the lower part of her face and her neck. Her nose is brick red, but with a darker brown line around it.
