2/ At Paranal there's a longstanding tradition to gather every day at the telescope platform to watch the #sunset 😎, which is now even more special thanks to this comet, as this image from Anthony Berdeu shows.

3/ And Florentin Millour captured this fantastic wide field view, with our Very Large Telescope perched atop Cerro Paranal to the left.
A night photograph taken in the desert. The sky is full of stars, but the horizon is still partly orange as the Sun has just set. The comet appears as a bright white smudge that seems to touch the horizon. To the left there’s a flat-topped hill with some telescope domes on its summit.
