Whoever made that doesn't seem to know what WD-40 really is.

It's a rust dissolver but it's NOT a lubricant.

I think their "rusty tool" is called "a brain". 🤣

Nope, not a lubricant. It's used to loosen "tight nuts" stuck because of rust so you can unscrew them.

It's more of a cleaning solution for parts that are NOT moving (ironic isn't?).

@dom 🤣🤣🤣 (wow! A LOT of people are convinced it's a lubricant - I was one of them but that doesn't mean much)

That's because WD-40 had good marketing and people do what their parents were doing without thinking. 🤣

Well, at least it's not Fish(or Snake) Oil:

Myth: WD-40 Multi-Use Product contains fish oil.

Fact: “Consumers have told us over the years that they have caught some of the biggest fish ever after protecting their fishhooks and lures with WD-40 Multi-Use Product. We believe this legend came from folks assuming that the product must contain fish oil, since it appears to attract fish. Sorry, Charlie®, it just ain’t so.”
