How many times must I tell #github "I want to see fewer repository recommendations" before it stops showing me repository recommendations

And what's up with #tech companies completely ignoring the idea of consent, why has every "don't show this" or "no" option" turned into "I want to see less of this" or "ask me later" or "X" buttons which just hide the nagging until the next page load or app launch

#Codeberg says hello 😀

If github has no respect for you, don't feed it.

Yeah I should... my issue is the network effects, but I may be over-thinking those. Maybe I could have github mirrors of my repos and a huge disclaimer that the main repo is on codeberg and PRs/issues on github will be ignored?

Talking of network effects, you might want to check out garrit.xyz/posts/2021-01-23-si…

@Codeberg @dcz Thanks, that article makes some good points. Though my primary concerns aren't discoverability, but:
* People are used to the GH issue and PR flow
* People already have GH accounts, so they can contribute immediately
* People have built up an intuitive feeling of how many GH stars are "a lot" and indicate a project with a lot of users
* Some tools (such as vim plugin managers) have special syntax for referring to GH-hosted repos

These can all be alleviated with a mirror tho.
