#Frontend developers around? We'd appreciate a helping hand with improving the Codeberg dark theme (also w.r.t. colour contrast), or even more contributors to Forgejo.
@patricus The HTML lives in the templates folder, and if you need to touch JS or CSS, you'll have to check out the web_src folder.
It would also be a good start to learn more about issues, e.g. to get an idea why they happen or which could be modified. It will help the other developers working on these issues.
@Yuki Are you interested in triaging colour contrast issues with the Forgejo themes (see codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/i… for some related issues) and potentially fixing some of them?
Also see social.anoxinon.de/@Codeberg/1… but it might or might not be problematic if two people work on the codeberg theme simultaneously.
@andre Are you by chance interested in fixing the language selector in the footer? Codeberg applied a patch (codeberg.org/Codeberg-Infrastr… and potentially others) to the footer, but the colours of the language selector are somehow weird in the light theme (interacting with the button results in weird contrast issues).
- Dark theme footer has different colours (optional)
- Update footer to work nice with any theme
- Add social links to footer
---
+ Change "What is that?" to "Who are we" in the footer (49)

@veenk Would be great! If you are up for doing some template work, you could consider turning the notification box when adding 2FA into a modal that needs to be actively dismissed, and submitting the patch to codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/
If you're on Matrix, feel free to join the Forgejo Development Chat: matrix.to/#/%23forgejo-develop… There will be people around to help in case of questions.
I thought it would be a good idea to track improvements of navigation between related UI areas in a master issue.
Areas needing interconnectivity:
- [ ] going to the main PR screen from sticky header in `.../files`. [Issue](https://codeberg.
@TheEvilSkeleton Since some people indicated interest in working on the theme problem, would you be available for working on frontend issues in Forgejo to prevent conflicts due to simultaneous work?
The repo units settings are not vertically aligned on top of each other, and if https://codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/issues/3298 gets addressed, the page looks a little boring.

Triaging codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/i… if still relevant could be a good start;
and if you want to, you could take a look at codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/i… which might require a fix similar to codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/p…
