Als Antwort auf Vee • • •Also, the U.S. pays more public money per-capita for healthcare by a long way, because the $$$ private system drives up costs for Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans' benefits. So Americans don't even have the (tiny) consolation of saving on their taxes by doing without universal healthcare.
Example: in 2022, U S. per-capita Public funding for healthcare was US $12,555, compared to U.S. $6,319 in Canada.
