i have trouble to update to/install the actual 2024 release.
In short: On writing comment or new posts the send button does not close the dialog and if it closes, the written comment or new post isn't realized.

In Detail:

Goal:

Updating my existing instance
from:
2023.05;db 1518/1518; Pu 1507/1507; at Webhoster.de with PHP 7.4
to:
Actual release 2024.

Methode:

Archive files of Friendica-full+addon

1. Try update

1. Create DIR-new and fill with archive-files content
2. Overwrite with old config and htaccess
3. Cron-task stop
4. DIR=>DIR.old
5. DIR.new=>DIR
6. Cron-taks start
7. Check in brwoser by calling URL to proof all seems well

Result: FAIL

a) network view fragmented, so i wait some time to let potentially needed upgrade routins work
b) after a longer while trying to comment on a post: FAIL does not work
Edit-Dilaog opens, i'm ablöe to write my text but finsihing it by pressing SEND is not working: Sometimes the dialog just stays around after pressing SEND and if the dialog closes, the comment is not created.
The results are always similar in every try and the result is always the same: no comment created.

Trying to create a comple new post results in similar behaviour and with result: no post created.
No error messages.

So

2. Try: Completely new instance install to test

Result:

• Fresh install with PHP 8.1: OK
• Network view URL in browser: Page structure: OK
• Take a post of a foreign mastodon instance into my friendica context: OK
• Press Like: OK, effect
  - recheck in the conetxt of the mastodon account: OK, effect
  (Lucky)
• Comment this post as a test: FAIL; behaviour as describe above in Update-Try.
  (Sad)
• Try to create a complete new post: FAIL, behaviour as described above in Update-try.
  (Perplex)
