#Journal of a slightly sore Dutch Pixy 🧚🏼♀️ (Sunday, 23/03/2025).
@tldr 🤖 please do your thing for me. 😊
I woke a longer time before the alarm. As I was wide awake, I thought it was almost time for it so go off. When I looked again it wasn't 23 but still 22... But yeah I was wide awake, so I got up anyway... Did my usual things and got ready to head to the gym. Once Arwen was eating happily, I put out the snacks and I grabbed my bag. On to the gym I went. 😊
I caught up with the notifications while my meds were kicking in, and while I was enjoying the protein shake. I got to the seated bike, but after half an hour, my leg bummed out again. Stupid leg... 😔 I went to the massage chair to get some relief, and then I headed back home again. I was earlier, but yeah, I just wasn't motivated and I hoped that a walk with Arwen would help me feel a bit better.
I washed up and had brekky. Then we got ready for walkies. Arwen wanted the longer one, and the weather wasn't too bad, so I just followed her. We had a nice walk, and when we got back, I switched clothes so that I could ride the hometrainer for a while. My neck and right hand were sore, so I didn't do the dumbbells bit. I relaxed a bit and then fixed my food as I was getting a bit hungry. We relaxed a bit and then Arwen wanted walkies.
Some more relaxing after that, as I did feel sore and tired. And around 6:35, we got ready to head to Skoosh. We drove to the parking at the Herperduin. Arwen had all the sniffs and splashes there. She had a good time. When we walked back, I could hear kids screaming. It was 7:30 for crying out loud! So I was glad that we were heading back to Skoosh already...
We got back and Arwen allowed me some time on the couch. Till about 9 and then we had to go out again. She was still tired, but determined to head out for walkies. She was fortunate though, as she did spot her friend, so extra nomnoms were had!
When we got back, I tried to relax some more. My neck was sore and my thumb kept popping out of the socket some, so I wasn't a happy Pixy at all. Then I fixed food for Arwen and myself. Of course, when it was 11, Arwen had to have another walkies. She was tired, as was I, but nope, we had to go...
When we got back, I relaxed on the couch and at some point, I dozed off. When I woke, it was a wee bit past 13:30 and there was a text already about the walkies with N&B. Usually Arwen will let me know that it's time, but I guess she was snoozing as much as I was. 😂 So we quickly got ready and had a lovely walk together.
We watched some telly after that, till it was time to head to bed. It didn't take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo. When I woke again, it was about 35 minutes to the alarm. It wasn't a long night, but it had not been too bad. So... Let's get up and start the new night. Or day. Or week even. 😉

Als Antwort auf Pixy's Journey • • •A chocolate brown Labrador Retriever is walking through shallow water, with its front legs partially submerged, creating small splashes. The dog is carrying a bright green tennis ball in its mouth, which is slightly wet. The dog's fur appears wet and shiny, indicating it has been in the water for some time. The background shows a calm body of water, with no other objects or people visible. The dog's ears are floppy, and its eyes are focused ahead, suggesting it is engaged in play. The overall scene conveys a sense of activity and enjoyment in a natural setting.
