Der heutige Blick vom Spitzhorli (2736m) hatte dank einer tollen Wetterlage einiges zu bieten.
Weiter links im Bild ragt das markante Bietschhorn mit seinen knapp 4000m empor.

Die Temperaturen auf der Höhe sagten mir aber unmissverständlich, dass die Wanderschuhe zumindest für das Hochgebirge langsam in den Schrank wandern können...

Die Familie fragte mich mehrmals, warum ich immer meine kleine EDC Tasche mitnehme und zusätzlich noch meinen Poncho an ihr befestigt habe. Nunja, wer die Laune des Wetters im herbstlichen #Dänemark weiß, der Wechsel von Sonnenschein zu flüssigem Sonnenschein, sprich Regen kann sehr schnell gehen. Und dann ist haben, besser als brauchen.

Hiking Bayerischer Wald


Just found a video clip that I recorded when we had some vacations in the Bavarian Forest / Bayerischer Wald. It was a pretty windy day, but quite joyful nevertheless. We were well prepared and just had several good hours out and about.

btw: The white blocks on the ground are the border between Germany and the Czech Republic, the path goes along the border for quite a while. Pretty cool.

Wer viel durch die Natur läuft, muss sich auch entsprechend mit Kalorien ausstatten. Während des Urlaubs kam der kleine Taschengrill Jones Jr. das erste mal richtig zum Einsatz.

Wir haben dieses Jahr auch das erste mal einen Metzger in #Lökken getestet. Dieser hatte wirklich gute Produkte. Normalerweise kann man Wurst in Dänemark nicht sonderlich gut essen (klar ist Geschmackssache). Diese hier haben sich aber auf alle Fälle gelohnt.

Einen umgestürzten Baum mit #Moos und #Pilzen sieht man in aufgeräumten nackten Forsten selten. #Totholz liegt dort kaum herum. In einem naturbelassenem #Wald haben es die #Tiere und Pflanzen viel besser.
