We recently started this project (sweet potatoes growing ) bug am looking for someone who can help us out by teaching us how to grow these potatoes effectively. The potatoes grew well and healthy looking but they didn't put on any potatoe over there down when we reached the day of harvesting , the we couldn't get anything.

Good morning!

Drizzly humid day for my early-morning walk. It seems like most of my neighbors have colorful hydrangeas blooming right now. My giant hydrangea never blooms before August and has white flowers. The small one I planted a year ago is healthy and growing, but hasn't bloomed. Maybe next year.

My next door neighbor texted me at 6:30 a.m. to tell me there was a man just sitting in a car next to mine in the parking lot. I replied that I wasn't going to worry about it. A half hour later she texted that she'd had gone out to see what he was doing and he was a homeless man living in his car and trying to sleep. She told him he couldn't stay there and made him leave.

I would have let him sleep. He wasn't hurting anyone. But I wasn't going to argue with her about it.

#Today will be writing and maybe laundry. Have a good one, my friends, and keep on keeping on.

Have to take the bus today to get my share of supplies at the food bank during their early afternoon opening hours. During the current European heat wave. Near noon. A woman and two children enter the bus. The driver apologises for not having air conditioning. He turns the music up as if it would impart a protecting layer against the sweltering heat. Bongo drums now, somehow fitting. I wonder how he stands an eight our work day.

Good Morning. Beige be with you

Today is a big day. It is the last full day of my degree. Hand in is midday tomorrow!

I have 500 words left to write, then this afternoon I am going to go over the essay I finished last week.

I am quite emotional about being so close to finishing. It has been over 5 years since I started this degree and in that time the worst times of my life have happened. I have also been diagnosed with ADHD and autism in this time.

This is the 3rd time I have attempted to get a degree and the fact I am now so close, at the age of 49, is huge for me!

So please, if you see this, cheer me on today and send me words of encouragement!

EDIT: I have finished the work. I will be hitting send first thing in the morning once I have slept on it.

So I was walking to my desk carrying a large mug of hot coffee and my phone when all 15 pounds of Theo slammed into the backs of my knees and my feet went out from under me.

I landed hard on my tailbone, slamming my head into a closet door. The coffee mug shattered, hot coffee and glass everywhere.

I don't think I'm really injured. But what am I going to do with this cat?

Today I am feeling sluggish. By which I do not mean like a slug, in that I am not leaving a shiny trail behind me wherever I go.

I probably need to get some study done, but it is a Bank Holiday here in England (and possibly other parts of the UK too) and so I simply do not want to be working.

I fully intend to spend this afternoon and evening watching snooker and crocheting much as I did yesterday. I got loads of crochet done yesterday, and would like to continue this trend. I am still making the Starbright blanket by Attic24, and am thoroughly enjoying it because the pattern is simple enough for me to remember, but there are plenty of colour changes that keep my interest!

I will probably, half heartedly, turn my laptop on shortly and do a little bit of work, but am mostly looking forward to more crochet!

Last week there was a wasp, a huge one, on our utility room window. I reached over right in front of it to open the window, setting the behemoth free.
This morning another large brute. I calmly walked past it and opened the door. It flew past me to freedom.
