I had already used this motif a few days ago in the 'Upcycling' theme. Back then, the focus was on the lamp, today it's the chair. Both were props in a photography workshop. The lamp broke during transport to the location (a Christmas tree plantation). Kimichanga (see Instagram) and I then improvised...

Upon reconsideration, however, I no longer liked the edit and reworked it again. Besides, I still really like the idea: it's the decadence of patriarchy, or the human hiding for good reasons from the other inhabitants of the planet, or it's just crazy and unexpected. So I hope it is fine to bother you one more time with it 😉.

Mal ist es ein Wunsch, ein Traum, ein Muss oder - so wie in diesem Fall - eine Erinnerung an den letzten Sommer. Der Fokus sitzt nicht perfekt und durch die lange Belichtung sind die Blätter verschwommen, aber in diesem Sinne ist es egal: Die Erinnerung ist da und wir "Reisen im Kopf" (#FotoVorschlag) noch einmal zu diesem Hinterland-Campingplatz am Rande eines Dorfes und nahe am Nirgendwo.

Sometimes it's a wish, a dream, a must-do or – as in this case – a #throwback of last summer. The focus isn't perfect, and the long exposure has blurred the leaves, but in this sense it doesn't matter: the memory is there, and we "travel in our minds" once again to this campsite on the edge of a village and close to nowhere.

The most beautiful sunset I have ever experienced on a hike. This was shot in August 2024 when we were hiking the first part of the Kungsleden in Sweden, from Abisko to Nikkaluokta.
