When I took the photo I already had black-and-white conversion in mind, but in the end I couldn't really decide. I think in the end I prefer the color version...

'Heiter bis wolkig' #FotoVorschlag 'Fair to partly cloudy'
I'm not really happy with my pictures today... and the weather turned to "completely cloudy" very soon, so only the first few photos I took are "fair to partly cloudy". The Turley barracks were originally built under emperor Wilhelm II and there are lots of this beautiful brickstone buildings (some of them nicely remodelled with appartments and businesses, some of theme decaying and for sale...

'Fließendes Wasser' #FotoVorschlag 'Flowing Water'
Water is supposed to be flowing there. However, although we had some rain in the past few days, it’s still way too dry and groundwater levels won’t recover anytime soon (if ever).

'Brotvariationen' #FotoVorschlag 'Variations of bread'

Not much variation and not much creativity... I actually went to the nearby bakery with my camera (already prepared for "It probably sounds stupid, but may I take some photos of your bread") however the shelves were pretty empty, so I had to live with what we have at home

For #makromittwoch I have another butterfly... I was chasing a much nicer peacock butterfly but it wouldn't sit still, so I had to take the much more relaxed white cabbage...

It's not exactly a #wildflower for #wildflowerwednesday but I think it came out really cool. Single exposure, shot through a small gap in bush with red blooms (it was windy, so I needed a few shots until I had the white gaura visible and not blurry)

'Typisch für meinen Wohnort / meine Heimat' #FotoVorschlag ' Typical of where I live / my home'
The topic today could be interpreted in various ways. I finally decided to do the most obvious thing and took a shot of Mannheims most famous landmark. Not the best weather and not a good time of the day for nice photos, but at least (I think) I found an angle that is slightly different from the typical postcard picture.

@meoralis@pixelfed.social 's contrbution to #spookysaturday inspired me to re-edit this shot (originally intended for #fotovorschlag 'Bodyscapes').
Honestly - I have no idea, what meaning or purpose the sculpture has (there are at least two of those feet in #Mannheim) it reminds me of Addams family's Thing... (just that it's obviously a foot, not a hand)
