It probably originates from the #art world and describes the perfect balance of elegance, style and a touch of nonchalance - that’s what we see on the right of the picture. I’m on the left because this is the third post in a row and I want to include a chimp in every third post.
The photo was taken at the Kestner Museum in #Hannover. We were the first ones there early in the morning, and I just had to wait until the attendant had gone round the corner.

When I read "Rainy day" in today's PhotoSuggestion, this walk I did around Tai Po last year immediately came to mind.

But this one fits the bill perfectly today: The #PhotoSuggestion is ‘incompatible with the digital age’ … It’s hard to imagine what that means nowadays. But taking the time to linger, to wait deliberately … that’s no longer possible in the age of the smartphone.

Overhanging #boulders are a real challenge. As well as needing quite a bit of strength just to pull yourself up, you also need the right technique. It’s not at all easy to hold yourself up using just your fingers and toes. This is Gideon and my contribution to today's #PhotoSuggestion, “Effort”.
Last year we went on a climbing holiday to #Fontainebleau in #France. The area is absolutely beautiful and, as well as offering sporting challenges, is perfect for hiking or cycling along the Seine.

This is the #courtyard of the hotel directly opposite #Budapest #Keleti railway station, where I spent last night. Over the past 16 hours, I’ve managed to take lots of interesting photos in #Hungary, but this one is somehow special. I had to ask several people to help me get permission to enter the courtyard in the first place.
I took this photo with my #fisheye lens. I then removed the typical barrel distortion. Today’s #PhotoSuggestion asks for perspective distortion – which is why I think this photo fits quite well.

Sunset in The Hague

I remember very clearly that I had booked this apartment high above the rooftops of #TheHague for a workshop. It was on the 21st floor, I think. In the evening, there was this spectacular #sunset. Looking back from my company's perspective, I can say today that it wasn't just the sun that set that evening... But that's another story.
Today's #PhotoSuggestion is ‘#fog, #haze’. I have countless trees and plants in this kind of setting, but I think there's something really special about this picture. Today, I wouldn't edit it so drastically. But the colours are just right.

A few years ago, while travelling in #Copenhagen, I stumbled upon this statue by chance at the harbour. Zinkglobal was created by Kim Michael, who works under the pseudonym TheZinker. As far as I have read, this monument consists of 8,500 pieces of scrap metal and was therefore made from rubbish. This image fits perfectly with today's #PhotoSuggestion, which called for things that begin with the letter “J”.

Since I didn't get around to posting yesterday, there are two pictures today. That works out well, because one of my absolute favourite pictures fits perfectly with today's #PhotoSuggestion: something in #orange and #blue. I had rented an Airbnb in the #Bredero high-rise in #Hannover. I had seen this offer by chance and then waited for a suitable opportunity. This turned out to be a business trip that I had to start early before 6:00 a.m. on the first train. I was able to take this picture at the blue hour from the 21st floor.

Mont-Saint-Michel mir Hunden #fotovorschlag "Objekte die mit M beginnen oder so aussehen". Das war eine sehr lustige Begebenheit. Ich traf ein Ehepaar mit den zwei Hunden die trainiert waren zu posieren. Die Hunde waren so freundlich , daß auch für mich zu tun. Denke die beiden sind irgendwo im Netz Stars. Mont-Saint-Michel with dogs #photosuggestion "Objects that begin with M or look like that". That was a very funny incident. I met a couple with two dogs that were trained to pose. The dogs were so friendly that they did it for me too. I think the two are stars somewhere on the internet.
