Perspektiven im Wald.

#Forest bathing is good for the soul. Ideally, you should focus solely on yourself and your surroundings. But as I spent the whole day hiking through this forest, I really wanted to capture some of that experience for after my vacation. For today, for example.

That’s a different perspective. This is probably what the forest looks like to a beetle that has crossed the trail.

This prompt from @Ourladyofpoetics really stuck with me. To write your own eulogy. My writing by far not where I want it to be when someone actually will be writing my eulogy. But it is where I‘m at now. With my writing, and with myself.

So thanks for the prompt @ourladyofpoetics and thanks to everyone reading while keeping an open mind to the first but also the most personal piece I‘ve ever written and shared.

The Long Silence of the Servant's Hall.

Martindale Hall, Mintaro, South Australia.

Martindale Hall was completed in 1880. It is a well known Georgian style mansion and one of the most significant heritage sites in the Clare Valley region of South Australia. It is particularly famous for its unique architecture and for being a primary filming location for the 1975 film Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Ordinary Lines, Extraordinary Perspective
