North Sea (30 km from the Dutch coast) reaches all-time high temperature of 21.5°C, beating the previous record set in 2018. This of course leads to heavier rainfall events, and damage to nature and fisheries.
This is due to climate change, caused by burning fossil fuels.

Well, my dear, let me tell you that here in #EastFrisia the #NorthSea is called "die See" (translated into English: the lake) while a lake is called "ein Meer" (in English: a sea - do you notice the articles? They’re veeeeery important before German nouns). Confused? Yep, this is East Frisia 😉
