AFAIU trifft das nicht zu: Es sollen nur noch solche Apps installiert werden können, die von Google signiert wurden. Und das macht Google nur, wenn sich der Entwickler registriert hat, kostenpflichtig.
Kann das jemand bestätigen oder wiederlegen?
Wer jetzt noch kein Custom ROM hat, sollte sich vielleicht langsam mal mit GrapheneOS beschäftigen. Für Appentwickler werden die Zeiten leider deutlich härter.

So Google refuses to delete my dev account because they suspended #UntrackMe, an app that redirects Big Tech content to alternative privacy front-ends. Seriously?
Their advice: fix the "compliance issues" first. So I guess my only option left is to rename it TrackMe and have it redirect privacy front-ends back to Big Tech instead. That should fix it.F*** Google!

Y añadiré más. Google Play ha alojado millones de apps con malware de todo tipo (scareware, spyware, adware y un largo etc), lo sigue haciendo y lo seguirá haciendo, incluso con las apps que sus socios fabricantes, distribuidores y ellos mismos preinstalan.
Quien quiera un mínimo de seguridad y privacidad evitará usar Google Play.

Ab September 2026:
• Alle Entwickler:innen müssen sich bei Google registrieren
• Müssen Gebühren zahlen
• Müssen einen amtlichen Ausweis vorlegen
• Müssen Signaturschlüssel abgeben
• Nicht registrierte Apps lassen sich nicht installieren – selbst nicht per Sideloading
