Hace algunos años, uno de los encuentros de #Hackfun que denominamos "Operación Wolfenstein" consistió en analizar la información de un leak de un foro neo nazi llamado Iron March.
Nos hicimos con el dump de la información y empezamos a explorar cosas como las IPs, metadatos de imágenes, cruzar emails con otros dumps de filtraciones que teníamos disponibles en ese entonces, etc.
Logramos identificar a 4 argentinos, un par de los cuales pudimos ubicar con bastante precisión, encontrando algunas cuentas en otras redes sociales, otras contraseñas filtradas de otros servicios y hasta alguna foto personal en algún avatar.
Recientemente salió a la luz algo similar, pero hecho por una profesional de la seguridad informática, y los resultados son trágicamente hermosos:
