80 TREES PLANTED in Castlefields Tiny Forrest!

Massive thank you to everyone at today's FREE RANGE in Castlefields Park where we spent the morning planting trees and tidying up the Tiny Forrest!

The session was led by Sarah the Tree Ranger, who worked with the team from Grow Wild Outreach and Wellingborough Eco Group to plant 80 trees and to tidy up the area and trees around the park.

A lovely day at our Community Allotment, joined by just Ian and Jonathan at this Wednesday's Working Party. Jonathan planted some more hawthorn bushes and a vine, and Ian put some glass in our new greenhouse!

It’s the busiest time of the year, so there's plenty more to do, do join our community also for more fixing, weeding & more planting next Wednesday from 10am at Ladywell Allotments.

For our final tree planting session of the year, we are planting lots more trees, this time behind Swanspool Pavilion! We will have tea and coffee available, plus hand washing facilities. Meet at Swanspool Pavilion this Saturday from 10am.

Our Fortnightly Monday met at 10am at ECO HUB, where we had our FREE RANGE in Swanspool Gardens until 2pm.

We carried on clearing the old greenhouse site behind the Pavilion, plus we weeded the footprint flower bed and added flowering perennials. We also tidied up the flower bed at the front of the Pavilion and planted more flowers. Well done all!
