Storm Brewing Over Dingle

Dingle Marina sat there looking calm and civilised. Boats were tucked
in, masts upright, everything in order while the sky overhead threatened rain and hid any chance of a sunset from my vantage point.

Luckily, it didn’t rain. The sky just got darker and darker as the sun slipped further around the Earth. The low cloud was not illuminated by the magnificent sun as it descended so I made do with what I had.

Going Underground at Piccadilly Circus

Photograph of Piccadilly Circus in London at dusk, with the iconic London Underground roundel sign and a PUBLIC SUBWAY sign in the foreground. Every photographer who visits London takes a shot of Piccadilly Circus. It’s practically a rite of passage. The neon screens, the crowds, and the Eros statue somewhere off to the side are iconic. So is the famous UNDERGROUND branding seen all over the city so I wanted to get a mix of the two in this photo.

Driftwood at Owenahincha

Last night Blarney Photography Club travelled to Owenahincha Beach to do some seascapes. We hoped to do some Milky Way photography later in the evening too but cloud cover got thicker and after some socialising in the nearby Celtic Ross Hotel we went home.
