Today was a good day. We got to take @Sk8r_Grrl and her partner up Moel y Gest to leave some ashes from her doggo Zeus with my boy Hitch. But also being able to share my favourite little mini-mountain with someone so special to me was just really wonderful. It was a perfect hike and a perfect day and I'm overflowing with mushy gratitude right now.

Aled and I have decided to make #MountainMonday an actual #mountain bagging day! Today took us on a 10 km hike around a mountain lake and up #ArenigFawr, the largest of the range. Sounds perfect, right? Welp... The weather turned about two thirds of the way up and the rain 🌧️ came and I was unprepared (a series of mistakes but my fault entirely). So I was very cold and wet and tired and cranky. 🀬 But it was beautiful, the girls loved it (TongueOutTuesday here we come), and we made it up and back out alive! Another adventure in the books. ✨
