Hi @CryptPad I have a years-old cryptpad.fr account, and see in my account settings page an option to update my account to enable the newest features.
After entering my password and clicking OK, it takes me to a page with this error:

> TypeError: can't access property "length", bytes is undefined

Reloading my settings page still shows the update my account modal.

Can anyone advise on how to fix this so my account can be updated? Thx! 😀

Als Ausgangspunkt setzten die Vortragenden den Start einer digitalen Materialsammlung. Soweit OK. Aber dann wird neben #Obsidian ein allgemein gehostetes #CryptPad empfohlen.

Wiewohl Cryptpad ne gute Sache ist, würde ich ein OnlineTool niemals als zentralen Punkt für professionelle Arbeit wählen, wenn ich es nicht selbst #digitalSouverän betreiben (lassen) kann.

Mit #Joplin, auf einer selbstgehosteten Nextcloud komm ich z.B. gut klar. Es gibt auch anderes in diesem Bereich, z.B #LogSeq.

I have read your toot with translation (in case I didn't get something correctly...). The text after '#' in URLs is never sent to the server and it is always locally processed developer.mozilla.org/en-US/do… I guess there could still be risks -100% is never possible- with the code run by your browser, but not about the encryption key being sent through the url to the server. #cryptpad

Seems broken for me too – not sure if it is related to the #IronFox 144.x releases or the new #CryptPad release.

@Papaexmatrikulatus Danke für den Hinweis.
Ich selbst nutze LibreOffice (desktop) und bin sehr zufrieden, auch für Präsentationen, was vor eine paar Jahren noch nicht so gut geklappt hat.
Es gibt noch #OnlyOffice , das durch seine Online-Version überzeugt. Ebenfalls OpenSource, an der Lettischen Firma die dahinter steht hat ein russischer Oligarch die Mehrheitsanteile, was einige davon abhält, das zu nutzen.
Außerdem gibt es noch #Collabora und auch mit #CryptPad lässt sich vieles lösen.
