Up, close and personal. Gorski Kotar, Croatia
Lost in a small cabin deep in the forests of Gorski Kotar, I spent several days waiting. Waiting for a movement, a sound, a sign of life. The bears were out there somewhere beyond the trees—unseen, yet never truly absent. In the silence of the mountains, time seemed to slow down. This photograph is as much about that waiting as it is about the animals I came to film. Sometimes documentary work is simply about being there, alone, long enough for the forest to accept your presence.
Perdu dans une cabane au milieu des forêts du Gorski Kotar, j’ai passé plusieurs jours à attendre. Attendre un mouvement, un bruit, une présence.
