Our school put on Laura Wade's "Alice" - a story of a young girl processing her grief through imaginings based on Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland".

An amazing journey, with tears and laughter along the way.

We built those lanterns and clouds from scratch - LED strips, connectors, 100m of twinflex, and hours of stripping and connecting and testing. But they were magic.

1 out of around 4500 images I took.

Oh, definitely. My cousin worked on Broadway and recently retired. I was so impressed by every show that he did, from Mary Poppins to Cirque du Soleil to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. All sorts of things. (Mind you, I'm a theater and Broadway nerd as well.) For me, the most impressive one just has to be The Lion King. I was ten years old, and he brought me backstage to meet all the performers and see the props afterward. It was the best time, and I think experiencing that kickstarted my love for the business. The props (and god, the costumes too) were the most impressive things I've ever seen.

Today, the last photos with the Olympus Trip 35... I'm finishing with three photos in one day. Two recent "test" photos taken during theatre performances and one photo from the archive. I recently had this one printed in A2 format and I'm looking forward to an exhibition in our village. The on-stage photos were taken with the aperture set to 5.6 and the distance estimated, of course.

For those who are actually reading this, I mentioned earlier that I work as a stage manager and therefore occasionally take photographs on stage. I am now on the last roll of film in my Trip 35, and yesterday I took another photograph on stage with this little camera... Of course, it's not this photo, this one is from several years ago. But it does show that it is sometimes possible to take a good picture with it, even in very difficult conditions... (very little light)
