For #TongueOutTuesday and #Toothday, here's one of the #sheep from the farm where we stayed last week. The sheep were quite shy and ran away as soon as they spotted us – except for this one. She bleated at me and galloped towards me at full speed, greedily gobbling up the grass I'd picked for her. Unfortunately, she nibbled it away so quickly that I didn't manage to get a decent shot, but this is the experience I got. 😂 🐑

27/30 for my photo-a-day in April

I took a friend round the local Quaker Trail and we visited the various historic Quaker sites. It was a beautiful day, sunny but not too hot. The trees are all coming into leaf and there is blossom and wild flowers everywhere.

We also saw these splendid rams. Total distance was 7.5 miles. I am now tired and a bit achy. Getting old means slower recovery time so I'll have a restful day tomorrow.

Team Langohr.
Unsere erste Begegnung mit Saaser Mutten war zwischen Saas Grund und Eisten, auf einer felsigen Weide im Talgrund. Neugierig kam uns die ganze Herde ganz in Ruhe beschnuppern. Die meisten Schafe sind viel zurückhaltender, scheuer.
Jetzt haben wir selber welche. Und ich bin immer noch verliebt in die Rasse. Ja, sie sind gross und kräftig. Und sie haben ihren eigenen Kopf. Aber wenn sie einem vertrauen, folgen sie einem überall hin.
