Ich hätte #Rasperry #Pi 4 mit 4 GB abzugeben...

Auch 400er.

Waren alle nur wenige Wochen lang im Einsatz... 2 Stk. 4er sind sogar noch ungeöffnet OVP.

Normale 4er mit 1GB habe ich auch noch 3 Stk., sind aber nicht auf dem Photo.

Es gibt ja diese #Rasperry #Pi und so... ich habe mich damit bisher überhaupt nicht beschäftigt, aber mir kann bestimmt jemand sagen, ob man damit einen #RustDesk #Server laufen lassen kann und welchen man da mindestens braucht und worauf ich mich da einlasse? 😁

Bisschen Linux und Terminal käme ich mit klar.

My pal Mathysphere is hosting a Pi Day Cross Stitch Nonogram Stitchalong!

Every day from March 1st to 14th, a new nonogram will be released on their site (with two on the first day). Each nonogram is one part of a larger design; if you stitch them all together, the full piece will be revealed!

Weil grad wieder ein Raspberry Pi Projekt bei mir vorbeifliegt. Kleiner Tipp: eh ihr eine alten Laptop entsorgt, könnt ihr auch den nehmen statt den RasPi. Da ist man dann bei nix eingeschränkt, CPU, RAM, Disk, Netz. Reichlich Anschlüsse.

Nachteile:
- keine digitalen IO Ports, kann entscheidend sein
- 5-10W, je nach Konfiguration und Nutzung statt ... was braucht ein Pi?

Sehr gut! Ich war einfach neugierig auf #Matter, da es jetzt allmählich überall günstige Geräte gibt. (Ikea steigt da ordentlich mit ein)Langfristig wird es ja sowieso immer weniger #Zigbee-Hardware geben. Interessant ist auch, dass #Matter von der Zigbee Alliance kommt. Vielleicht kaufe ich mir irgendwann mal einen Threads-/Matter-USB-Stick für mein #Pi.

Mein #Raspberry #Pi 1. Der hat schon was erlebt! Bis gestern war der noch als #pihole im Einsatz, wofür eigentlich auch völlig ausreichend ist. Nur die 4 GB Karte, die ist etwas klein geworden. Muss ich mal schauen ob ich noch irgendwo eine 8 oder 16 GB Class 10 habe.

TIL that @Extelec build an awesome Pico Cray super computer. It must be amazing to own. This one computes a mandelbrot set.

I've played with mandelbrot sets, rendering them on IBM PS2 computers in the 1990s.

You can use Mandelbrot sets to create very realistically looking landscapes for example

The PS2 only had a 286 CPU with a 287 Math co-processor.
That meant that even rendering a small set, the computer had to calculate at least 12 to 18 hours. Rendering a whole landscape on which we would play, would be undoable on the 286 with the 287. Based upon the real world results it would take more than half a year of computing time on that low powered machine. Especially since it ran dos 3.3, a single tasking Closed Source operating system

Frage zu #Raspberry
Ich habe einen #Pi im LAN, der ist per SSH erreichbar. Port ist dauerhaft verfügbar, sagt zumindest #nmap. Andere Ports nicht.
Logge ich mich via SSH ein, sind dann auch alle anderen erwarteten Ports von außen verfügbar.

Über #Docker läuft ein #PiHole
Weder der #DNS Port 53 ist ohne SSH Login erreichbar, noch die Weboberfläche.

Woran liegt das? 🤔
Mir fehlt gerade die Idee, was ich falsch eingestellt habe.
