In the 2010s #Ozzy was busy with almost Black Sabbath reunions and tours and real Black Sabbath reunions and tours.
This meant that we had to wait for 10 years for another solo album.

In these 10 years the inevitable happend: Ozzy sounds old. Which is of course a natural thing and nothing that should be criticised.

It happened to Lemmy on Aftershock.
It happened to Bruce Dickinson on Sunjutsu.
It happened to Rob Halford on... 🤔 didn't happen yet, didn't it?

Entering the 90s it seems #Ozzy is going full pop-rock with awesome guitars on "No More Tears".

It's worth noting that Lemmy wrote the lyrics for 4 songs on the album.
According to him he made more money in royalties for these songs than he ever did with Motörhead.

That was a surprise. One of the good ones. I think the only reason why this doesn't instantly go to the top of my ranking is because Blizzard of Ozz has so many iconic songs on it.

I think "No Rest For the Wicked" is a perfect #Ozzy gateway album.

Holy hole in a doughnut, Batman, this album rocks! 🤘

I noticed a much more agressive but also more sophisticated guitar play, so I checked Wiki. That's Zakk Wylde's #Ozzy debut.

Also, the album sounds fantastic compared to the previous ones who sounded a bit thin.

Diary of a Madman feels a bit rushed and it sounds unbalanced. It's ok but I did like the debut much better.

But there are some good songs on it, like the title track wich is also the album closer.
