THREE small otters playing in a pond by the river tonight and the phone camera does not cut it at all. This is i think the 5th time I have seen river otters in the 7 years i've lived here and only twice have I had a decent camera, dagnabbit. They were very small - juveniles? I wondered if they were something else, mink or something, but nothing turns in the water like an otter. They were chuffing and chattering and blowing bubbles and you will just basically have to take my word for it because these utterly awful photos are all I got. #wildlife #otters #badphotos #oregoncoast

I have a little song I sing this time of year, it goes Ten Thousand Photographs of Pelicans 😀 and yes, here are two of those photographs and one that MIGHT be a stealth whale! I can't tell! I said, Computer, Enhance! and go figure, it didn't help. So I will let you all be the judge of that: whale? Or no whale? It might be two diving pelicans.
