I really had to accept, that `mutt` doesn't fit anymore. The way I do email in everyday-life simply changed. Even if I loved using mutt for quite some years and even I still see all the advantages and power of it, it doesn't fit anymore and I have to find ways to organize all my mail relatd things in thunderbird, because that's the one that fits best now for me.
Yeah, we're not static. Strange how liking and habits can change.

Nicht alle Menschen verwenden Whatsapp / Signal / Threema ; einige von uns habe nicht einmal "so ein" Smartphone.
Findet die Kommunikation in Vereinen, Kindergarten, Schule ausschließlich über "solche " Apps statt, werde diese Personen von der Kommunikation ausgeschlossen.
Ferner, machen wir es allen, die gerne Wechsel oder davon weg wollen, immer schwerer. Somit auch die wichtigen Schritte für Freie Software und dezentrale Systeme.
Man kann sich ein MS-Konto (was sonst) anlegen und ganz liebevoll nur für alle MS-Kunden-Empfänger in einer Admin-Oberfläche seine eigene Domain pflegen. Dort kann man angeblich auch false positives hochladen.
Hat das eine oder das andere schon mal wer von euch probiert?
(Und warum hab ich davon bisher noch nix in den Medien gelesen, aber in einigen Foren, dass MS seit längerem ziemlich willkürlich redliche Absender ins Spam-Aus schickt?)

Achtung - es kursieren gerade täuschend nachgemachte Mails, die den Eindruck erwecken, von der Deutschen Rentenversicherung zu stammen. Angeblich soll man eine aktuelle Renteninformation anfordern und sich hierzu auf dem Rentenportal einloggen. Die Mails enthalten hierzu sowohl eine Schaltfläche als auch einen Link.
BEIDE VERKNÜPFUNGEN SIND FAKE und leiten weiter zu einer dubiosen Internet-Homepage, die vermutlich speziell dafür eingerichtet wurde, persönliche Daten abzugreifen.
ALSO NICHT ANKLICKEN - am besten die Mail löschen!

Anyone else running into a ton of hassle with sending letters to the USA since the regulations changed?
They flat out told me at a Budapest post office that I can't send anything in the envelope but personal written mail. They hand-wrote "Contains personal correspondence only" (in Hungarian 😅 ) on the envelope and I had to sign it.
It differs wildly between offices too. Some offices write it in English. Some have a stamp. Others don't care at all, lol. 😆
Für die Anbieter natürlich blöd.
Aber eine (verschlüsselte) #Mailingliste gibt es ja auch noch.
Ist dann schön dezentral.
Und ob eine #Messenger App genommen wird oder das sowieso vorhandene #Mail spielt doch keine Rolle.
