Nordmole construction site, Bremerhaven.
Here, one of the city’s most distinctive maritime landmarks is slowly taking shape again. After the old mole lighthouse began to lean in 2022, work is now underway on the new Nordmole — helping secure safe access to the Geeste estuary and paving the way for the return of the historic beacon.
Between water, steel, and a grey sky, Bremerhaven once again shows its raw maritime character.

Split Rock Lighthouse - Full Moon Lake Superior Minnesota
This was part of our recent family outing to the North Shore of Minnesota. If you are not familiar, this is along the majestic Lake Superior one of the five Great Lakes. We went to several state parks and hiked and explored. The weather was the best of the entire summer!! It was truly a great time.

I took this from the boat doing the wilderness cruise near Strahan in Tasmania.
I was using a Nikon D3200 DSLR with a 300mm lens.
It was June 2015 which was a very cold winter.
