83. Light Trails
🧠 I was hoping to get a bus but got fed up waiting so made do with the cars passing by, as well as getting J to walk back and forward!
⭐I'm pleased with the car light streaks and repeated wheel alloy pattern! I'm also quite chuffed the rest is so crisp. I had the camera hanging round my neck and resting against my abdomen with the wee screen popped up to use instead of the viewfinder.
➡️ It's maybe a bit busy. I cut off the top of the tunnel which had given surround framing because there was too much that was distracting. I think if I'd captured a bus the full height could've worked.

Deceptive Silence - It looks so #peaceful and #romantic. But on the small path winding between the #trees and the bench, there was heavy traffic. It’s fascinating how much a photograph can distort the reality of the moment.
I especially like this picture because I have seen the reality behind it. And I also like the #minimalism in it. It actually makes for a nice desktop #wallpaper, doesn't it?

I’m in awe of all the aurora borealis photos that everyone’s been sharing. I ventured out in my neighborhood last night to try to catch a glimpse of it in NYC, but had no luck as usual — bad timing, bad light pollution, likely both. For now it’s an unfulfilled dream, but here are some long exposure shots I took anyway — lights on the ground instead of lights in the sky.
