Langsam, aber beständig schreitet der Prozess in Richtung digitaler Souveränität der deutschen Behörden und Verwaltungen voran. Eine der Antriebskräfte dafür dürfte die permanente Unsicherheit sein, die der irrlichternde König Donald* erzeugt.
Im vorigen Oktober hatten die Bundesländer M-V und S-H bekannt gegeben, dass sie auf dem Weg zur digitalen Souveränität kooperieren wollten. Man könne auch sagen, M-V möchte von den Erfahrungen in S-H profitieren. Das ist gut und richtig so; wenn jeder das Rad neu erfände, kostete das nur unnötig Zeit und Geld. Ein erster konkreter Schritt wurde jetzt getan: In M-V wird eine Kollaborationslösung auf der Basis von

I had no idea that Xournal++ had geometry tools. I discovered the compass and the speed square while doing some idle sketching for an upcoming coffee table build on the PineNote! This is the appropriate level of "CAD" for me at this stage of the build, graph paper with a protractor but super easy copy paste to visualize various combinations.
This is open hardware running free and open source software, I love this so much!

Open Source ist in Schleswig-Holstein ein strategischer Wettbewerbsvorteil - auch in der Wirtschaft. Das stellt eine Studie von DiWiSH, IHK und Wirtschaftsministerium fest. Freie Software treibt die Innovationsgeschwindigkeit voran und sichert die digitale Unabhängigkeit des Standorts, verlangt den zumeist kleinen Unternehmen jedoch ein hohes Maß an technischer Expertise und Compliance-Aufwand ab.
IMHO ist die Studie an der Stelle aber etwas schwammig, weil sie nicht zwischen FOSS im Rechenzentrum und auf dem Desktop unterscheidet. Unbestritten dominiert Linux den Server.
SH braucht mehr Unternehmen, die anderen bei der Umstellung auf Open-Source im Büro helfen können. Das braucht Förderung.
