Ich liebe die Durchschreitung von Geröllfeldern und Schuttkaren.

Jeder Schritt muss sitzen und man muss stets damit rechnen, dass der nächste Stein oder Fels, auf den man tritt, dem Gewicht nicht standhält.
Es erinnert mich daran, dass ich bei Berg-Touren als Mensch sehr klein und den Naturgewalten komplett ausgesetzt bin. Demut und Respekt macht sich breit - man ist Gast in teils für den Menschen lebensfeindlichen, meist noch unberührten, alpinen Regionen.

Das Foto zeigt die weiten Geröllfeldausläufer beim nordseitigen Aufstieg auf die #Neyerscharte (2300m) im Rätikon in Österreich (August 2023).

Im Vordergrund und in der Bildmitte ist ein steiniges Schuttfeld mit einer aufsteigenden Wanderin mit Rucksack zu sehen, das in eine Art Talkessel ausläuft und am Ende von teils im Schatten liegenden, steilen Bergflanken abgegrenzt wird. Weiter links geht es immer grüner werdend weiter ins Tal hinunter.

Mid July two years ago we've been on a weekend trip by train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and were going to sleep in a mountain hut for the first time.
After a very bright and hot saturday on our way up to the Kreuzeckhaus, most of sunday was rather soupy and cold. The sun only came out once we were nearly back in town.

Back from about 7h bike and hike. Got up before 6am - totally worth it but with a couple of challenging sections.

It was quite a walk along this ridge. Sometimes pathless, sometimes directly at the cliff. But always with some gentle wind.

Just got a blister at my right heel. Luckily it only got worse shortly before reaching the bike. Time to resupply our medikit with anti-blister patches.
