Last year, Ukrainian military helped the pregnant daughter of Sudzha (Kursk region) resident Elena Fursova by taking her to Sumy, where she gave birth to a boy, and then bringing her back. Elena said that her daughter Yuliya would have died in childbirth if it had not been for the Ukrainian military medic.

After Sudzha returned to Russian control, Elena Fursova instantly shifted her ground and now calls Ukrainians "inhumans" who "kill anyone who looks at them wrong."
