@FediTips I keep forgetting the fine details of Mastodon search, so I've bookmarked this:

How do I search for stuff on Mastodon? | Fedi.Tips – An Unofficial Guide to Mastodon and the Fediverse
fedi.tips/how-do-i-search-for-…

and I use #Tusky for bookmarking indieweb.social/@mcrocker/1135… so I figure why not share this one?

if you do a lot of searches from a mobile app you'll probably enjoy #pachli.

I put quite a lot of work into making it easier. pachli.app/pachli/2024/07/29/2… has details, including screenshots.

looks interesting.

It's also on #FDroid: Pachli for Mastodon f-droid.org/packages/app.pachl…

I mostly use #Phanpy, and keep #Tusky around for notifications and link sharing. I don't do a lot of searching, but do like to link to relevant posts, so I'll definitely check out #Pachli when I get home.

Thanks for the tip. 💚

I have tried #Pachli and _do_ like it. The search feature that @nikclayton called out were a nice improvement.

Although I will still keep using #Phanpy as my primary Fediverse client, I ... was about to say that Pachli will replace #Tusky, but it turns out that composing in Pachli is nearly impossible because the compose dialog is entirely underneath the keyboard and not visible, making it very difficult to compose posts and responses like this!

Have you tried letting the developer know? They are usually responsive to problems like this.

I just discovered it today in my Doctor's waiting room, and @nikclayton _is_ the developer, but yes, I agree that an actual bug report on GitHub is probably a good idea.
